Northolme is only good if you get a villa with pool IMHO, otherwise i find its just too small. However if you want to see things on the main island the northolme is the better option. Ideally you could split, and spend the last few nights at Nothholme.

As for helicpoter, i personally think its worth splurging for the flight in one direction.... its quite fun flying in... (that said i flew out last time due to timings with my BA flight)
