Something that important I would never use email, online form or chat with someone. I would call a real person and resolve the problem. I did that to fix my name and it was done immediately with both Delta and Emirates. I only use online forms for non-important issues.
You have to submit documentation. Not sure how long ago you changed name. However AFAIK it's a submit and wait game with all. Otherwise people could change names just to game system.
