Well, they also have a significantly larger domestic market, as BA’s domestic market does not stretch beyond 1:20-ish flights. Not sure if you count Europe as ‘domestic’ for BA, but in any case, everybody does the same - and if they some days can sell 12 rows of CE, some days only 3, then the business model works in the name of flexibility.
