Positive experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square Central on a one night stay:

Upon checking in I was told "Thank you for being a Diamond member. You'll have $20 credit to use in the restaurant for dinner tonight or breakfast tomorrow."

I used it for a martini that evening. Which was great because I'd much rather have a NYC deli breakfast than an HGI breakfast any day!

Upon checkout, without prompting, the agent said "ok I'm taking off your $20 dining credit and the premium internet." Nice stay all around!
