I finally got through to a phone rep and explained the situation. She ran it up to the supervisor who is going to do exactly as you said, which is to reissue tickets without the ATL to TPA segment.

flyerCO, I don't know how to properly thank you. I don't think my family could have handled a second 26 hour planes, trains, and automobiles oddysey in one week.
