Digging in deeper, it looks like my single itinerary has turned into three. Searching for the original confirmation code only shows my 14 year olds's flight from ATL to TPA for 7:15am tomorrow.
For my wife and I, I was able to locate each of our itineraries by searching by ticket # shown on the receipt of the original booking. For the two of us, it does looks like things were done correctly as the ATL to TPA leg no longer shows and we each now have a new confirmation code.
I'm now on minute 120 of waiting on hold to try to fix my son's ticket. Fun times. I've spent two days of our four day vacation dealing with ticketing issues.
