Anyone successfully get a refund (or transfer) for a seat upgrade? I bought a FC upgrade for a flight 6 weeks out and now have to change to the following day. Despite just hitting Diamond (for real) for the year and having 10+ more flights left in the year they were firm that only a schedule change would allow for a refund / transfer.

For voluntary changes this is true. Also was this just a one flight upgrade in a direction or a whole direction upgrade? The latter is actually just a fare upgrade.
