Thanks. I ended up doing a mock cancelation, and started the process. Prior to confirming, it said it needed to be manually processed, and to give at least 10 days, but it may take up to 30. So I just made the change - also realized that this particular reservation the flight I was changing to was priced a bit higher, so just did the change and paid the fare difference, which worked out well.

Even with the refund...seems to be better than ACs process - they take up to 30 days to process a cancelation to a 'travel voucher' (essentially a gift card). I canceled a flight with them on Sept 10, and finally got the card info. yesterday, with a note that it may take up to 3 days for the funds to appear on it . Last I checked, the card still had a zero balance🙈.
