I did get a refund of a seat upgrade on a flight after that flight was cancelled. They would not let me bring it over to the new flight since it was 10x the cost. They said they would but did not refund an upgrade on a flight where they kicked me out of my C+ seat and blocked all of them. After 10 minutes of explaining to three different CSRs they did put me back in C+ at no charge when they unblocked C+ a month later.
