Anyone tried to refund a booking where TravelBank funds were used recently? Wondering if it still takes time/effort to get the funds back.

long story short, used funds for a booking that I’d like to change to a day later (and flight is cheaper) - booked last night so eligible for refund. Hoping to have the funds redeposited, then use it again for the new flight, so the extra funds would be in the TB vs. in an FFC. But not sure I’ll have the TB funds back to rebook if I try to refund. Not sure if the fact that it was also paid with some $ as well complicates things. Kind of assume just doing this as a change won’t allow for a refund of the balance, even within 24 hour flexible period.
