I had a stay here in August 2021.
Just wanted to give a heads up to check your credit card statement. The credit card charge on my Amex Bonvoy shows the hotel charge as 'GMT Hotels'. As such, the 5x Bonvoy points were not credited - just 2x base.
I put in a query with Amex explaining that I stayed at the Marriott Tbilisi, booked directly through the Marriott website, and have a folio from Marriott Tbilisi. This had to be looked into. No adjustment on the next statement. Called back and was told about the note on file that 'GMT Hotels' couldn't be found on the Marriott website, so no points can be awarded. Sigh,
This second CSR was quite helpful. Her manager approved 'good will' adjustment for the appropriate points.
Same thing happened at the Le Meridien Batumi. This stay posted to my credit card as 'Batumi Tower Ltd'. Just 2x base points for this credit card charge as well.
Credit card charges for Sheraton Batumi and Sheraton Grand Tbilisi posted fine.
