i decided to test this out at SAN a few years back. My wife was an AU on my card. I purposely let her enter the Airspace club first and present her boarding pass and credit card to the agent. I had no issues getting in as her guest. This was pre “OW only” flights for access rule, so there was no need for the agent to scan my BP.
