I've learned down thread that what I knew was incorrect about the additional card holder. Thanks to all for the clarifications.

As I understand the benefit, only the primary card holder can enter with immediate family or two guests. The additional card holder (18+ years old) is allowed in only, no with two guests, with same day boarding pass for AA or partner airline.
