Ah, I wish. I'm not even close to the people I know who are buying fully-flexible First between the UK and the US and the Middle East every week. Lots of ponds out there, I suppose, and $7k on a single ticket is peanuts for many. I am very much a very small fish compared to many of the frequent flyers here on FT or on the Facebook groups, who post screenshots of annual spend many times higher than mine. And all of them pay attention to miles earned.

I should ask the ones who fly UA how they feel about the limit mentioned above.
