I know that the terms of the AA challenge says partner flights (not marketed by AA) like Alaskan and JetBlue count for this, but does the flight activity need to be credited to AAdvantage to make it work?

I booked a transcon B6 flight and used my AA# but somehow during importing it to my mosaic account it now shows only the mosaic number.
