Hope I'm posting this in the correct section ... here goes ...
I've been searching for the best deal on a one-way, business class flight from ATL to CPT in November. I've used google flights, momondo, skyscanner and Air France and Delta. They all have shown similar pricing and routes. I wanted to see if I could use points (MR, UR or Delta skymiles), so I checked awardhacker as well. Business flights with 1 stop were running around $3k - $7k. Potential points awards were starting at 80k on awardhacker. When I checked Air France's site, they were showing a whopping 50k+ fkying blue points requirement at the lowest for the flights. 😯

For some reason, I decided to check the skyteam website and see what I could find. Lo and behold, I found business class flights for under $2k! One of them was on Air France. ATL --> CDG --> CPT. The others were a combination of air France, delta and KLM.

My question is, is this typical? I must be doing something wrong? Why would the alliance site have prices so much lower than the actual airline? I mean, something must be amiss, right?
