DL has been basically silent as to what is happening with Alitalia and its relationship to the SkyMiles program. The official transfer of company assets from AZ to ITA is scheduled to occur in less than two weeks on 10/15. The AZ website is selling ITA tickets for travel beyond that date.

Yet DL.com makes zero mention of AZ no longer being a partner after 10/15, no less not existing after that date. It just shows the typical AZ mileage-earning info on its Earning With Airline Partners page with no date-ending caveats. It just seems if there is a break in the AZ/ITA relationship DL would've had some official announcement by now. But nothing. It makes me wonder if there is something in works.
