Does anyone know if this scenario is going to work in the post November world or specifically what the rules around the "home quarantine" will be? I haven't really been able to find anything and that might well be because it hasn't been decided yet but I was wondering if anyone's heard any rumours or found anything I've missed somehow. Of course eventually Australia will likely look at the research here in Canada (once we were 80% of 12+ and tourists were allowed in it has not changed our COVID rates) and get rid of quarantine if fully vaxxed all together, but I don't know if that will happen before January when I want to come so I am sort of pondering. Good luck. I'm in a similar situation and am waiting for more details to emerge. The scant details seem to be if you don't have your own home you can quarantine in, you are stuck with the hotel program. This is not an improvement for many people in our shoes. It doesn't change anything for those still stranded abroad or that want to come back to see the families we have been separated from for years. It only helps the people that are resident in Australia and want to (and now can) leave, travel abroad, and return home.
