BUT - the person that is getting the new card is usually the person working towards getting the CP - at least in our case. I can refer my wife because she is about to get 2 new cards and earn CP. I will get the pints, but I am not the one trying to get CP. So, those points are not going to help.

But - for those close, if they can get a friend/family to get the card, then yes you get the points.

Fair, but I may ask my parents and fiancé to sign up. So I’ll end up getting 60k whereas they get 20k each, supposedly.
