I would imagine if Australia opened up for tourism, the carriers will add a lot more flights.
A lot of ground staff have been stood down or let go in the last 18 months, especially after JobKeeper ended. Building back capacity won't be like flicking on a switch. The government's priority at this point is the same promise they made last year: Every Australian wanting to be home will be home by Christmas.
