A few tips to avoid having your checked baggage delayed or lost.

Have a name tag with contact information securely attached to the outside of the bag in case the airline bag tag is lost.

Have a name tag with contact information INSIDE the bag in case all of the exterior tags are lost.

Double check the airline bag tag that it put on your bag to ensure it indicates your destination airport.
