With my Gold perks, I would never pay even £69 for a CE upgrade - and never have ! Sailing past the CE check-in queue at T5 recently (on my way to the F check-in) I was shocked at the length of the queue. Ended up in the Galleries J lounge (long story) and was frankly horrified at how full it was and how really really really bad the food offerings were.
