Any thoughts on whether JFK or BOS is better for an international (Qatar Airways) to domestic (AA) transfer?

I'll be arriving on December 17 on Qatar Airways and then taking a final leg on American to CLT. Layover times of between 1 hour 45 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the airport. I'm a US citizen, no GE, but I'll use mobile passport if available. If it matters, I'm not sure if the JFK to CLT schedule after December 15 has been finalized, since the schedule earlier in the week shows 8 daily non-stop American flights, but only 6 daily non-stops later in the week. I saw some people mention on other threads that the most recent schedule updates only went through about December 15. The BOS schedule that week seems more consistent and finalized.

I appreciate any insights. I've transited those airports out of the US, but never into the US, so I value your feedback.
