When I called BA today I was told the exact opposite about east and westbound availability. After unsuccessfully trying to book online I was informed that westbound was unavailable but that a number of dates from may to august were available eastbound. Even though I wanted to go westbound if I could only go one-way, I settled for eastbound and F westbound on the 747 when no dates were available westbound.
