I was on an ORD -ANC flight the other day and cleared about 1 hour before the flight. There were a total of 10 of us in the front cabin for a 20 seat configuration with 6 upgrades. They were really hoping to have a last-minute 16 person group need to go to ANC in paid first at the last minute.

it was nice that we each had our own empty seat next to us.
