IC Vienna

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked: Classic Standard Room (conference rate)
Received: Deluxe Room (1 cat upgrade)

How are the rooms?
Spacious but getting tired (see IC Vienna thread in forum), typical lumpy 2xdouble euro mattress and individual comforters which I loathe. Firmest pillow in the hotel that I requested was in the room when I checked in which was appreciated. Bathrrom and shower were great

How is the exec. lounge?

Good:
Staff is fantastic throughout hotel and really are responsive to guest concerns. Would stay there again just for this fact
One of the best hotel bars I have ever been to, René and the crew make everyone feel welcome, I had a great time at his bar.

Bad:
Possibly the ugliest building in Vienna!
Hotel is getting a little tired like the rooms. Lights burnt out on elevator control panel, scuff marks, etc.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
fantastic value since I was attending a conference and got a discounted rate. I would definitely return to this hotel when in Vienna, I had a great stay overall. First stay as a Plat Ambassador and benefits recognition was proactive and flawless.
