I received the email from them on mon sept 27 after I had explained the whole situation to them. Once I actually received the points back from my cancelled reservation and I asked about applying the points to my new reservation plus the 60k points necessary due to the rate increase they suddenly changed their tune. You would think that especially since it was in writing that they would honor it but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Unfortunately I’ve reached out by email and phone several times already and nobody seems willing to help me or honor what they’ve clearly stated in writing in addition to the multiple times on the phone I was reassured that they would follow through with this plan to the point I booked airfare because I felt at ease about the situation
