The restaurant I was most excited about was Giacomo al Lago, as I loved the menu. The restaurant is located on the ponton. As it was raining our reservation was unsure, but in the end we could take our seat "on the water".

The bread was better than in the bar, but not great.

The Amuse Bouche was not exciting, more very usually.

As indicated I took the mixed raw fish platter for 60,00 € I expected something exciting as I had in the past at other restaurants.

When I saw it I was disappointed. It was not only small, it was also average in quality.
Spaghetti alle vongole, 32 €.

I was tasty, but I think you can expect at this price point.
Main course was catch of the day alla Ligure. They charge 110 € per kg, our fish was 1300 g or so.

The promised potatoes were missing, but hey.....
Dessert:
Lemon curd, cream of soft cheese, white chocolate and plain madelein

Puff pastry, mascarpone chantilly cream and wild strawberries

Each were 16 €. The puff pastry was incredible heavy, you could feed 3 with it. The limone was rather good. Nothing against the dessert.
Back to the hotel.

The dinner wasn´t bad, but totally overpriced. If you charge this prices you must deliver more, it was quite any, nothing to write home about.
