Over 60% of the total population of Japan has now completed both shots of a COVID vaccine, and over 70% received at least one shot of a COVID vaccine, a number which includes all of the under 12 children not yet eligible for a vaccine.

By the end of the month, it's quite likely that daily infection numbers will be at their lowest point in the year.
