After a quick glance at rates I think I'll be doing a points booking regardless of the hotel we choose. I guess all four HRs are technically in play, as well as the HP Galleria, but I'll assume that the two HRs in the thread title are the ones to focus on. Pretty agnostic to location as we'll stay at the hotel mostly and on the occasional trips to see friends it'll probably be all over the map anyway (Woodlands, Downtown, Bellaire) So main emphasis is on quality of hotel/rooms and elite benefits. Thanks!! Considering the points booking, hoping to decide before peak pricing kicks in.
Only pick downtown HR if you're going to be spending much time there in the first place. Pick Galleria if your family will be going to the zoo, museums, etc. Pick Woodlands because you'll be doing stuff in that locale. Pick Bellaire - well, I'm not sure what's there, but if you're spending time there, it will have its own draw.
