Testing was up to 25k per day for Tokyo during August, it has now dropped below 10K in recent days and trending towards <5K. I don’t really understand this. What is the use of testing if people are not sick? People usually test when they are sick to verify if they have Covid. The only other situation would be required testing for work, which I’m not sure they are doing. If workers are vaccinated, I guess they probably don’t test. Right? Unless they are symptomatic or have a close exposure.
