I believe AA batch processes the posting of miles, etc. to accounts. Saturday and Wednesday nights, last week, AFAIK...

You're most likely right on the money with scanning the BP and the GA clearing the flights. It makes great sense.

Why it takes three days to post to our accounts is another story. Delta miles are posted the same day from what I hear. Now that's using technology right.
