I think part of it was that they felt sorry for me having to take 3 segments on the same plane before changing planes to get home (due to poor re-schedulng options), but the one thing I did was that while sitting in back during a layover the guy trying to do service in back was having a hard time opening the door from outside, so I called the FA's over to assist him. Not any kind of a big deal.
