What bugs me is that most anyone else in this situation would have actually wanted to travel to their destination and bought a new ticket and have gone already even if it meant flying business or coach after missing out on first. But now it's like he doesn't even want to go at all, or if he does end up going still plans to fight this in court while away on holiday. Just seems quite odd overall after all the advice and feedback given that he came here for. Waiting now to travel on a separate one-way ticket certainly won't affect anything if he manages to get someone to reinstate the return.

Honestly, if the customer services rep asks if he got there already and then realizes he's still in London, the rep may wonder if there's any point at all to reinstating the return!
