The CL at LAX is in TBIT, but "is temporarily closed due to building repairs". During most of Covid, they had a decent grab and go boxed meal.

The AS lounge no longer accepts AMEX or PP.

Since you're *A Gold, you can go to the *A lounge, which I prefer over the UC.

Your lounge experiences appear to be pre-Covid.
