I haven't been to EWR all that much. I've only flew to and from there with AC. I'm assuming once the new Terminal A is up and running, AC, AA, and DL will all move over to the new Terminal A? I'm assuming all the lounges and operations at the old Terminal A will be shut down and demolished in the new future? What is EWR's long-term plan with Terminal C? Is EWR only getting a new Terminal A and keep the other terminals as is?

Agreed, for us, right now, it’s all speculation.
It's kind of hard when investors are only focused on short-term profit. We gotta rip a page out of the Chinese economic playbook. They all seem to know how to plan for the long term.
There are definitely still a lot of unknowns about the new Terminal A. AC, AA and DL all currently have lounges at EWR, with the AC and AA lounges set to be demolished with the existing Terminal A. I don't know if there has been any confirmation on whether either is planning on building a replacement lounge at this point. (EWR as a station is definitely less important to AA than in the past.) In addition, I can't necessarily see DL voluntarily moving without some financial incentives for it to rebuild its lounge. On the other hand, it's a given that UA will be building a replacement A lounge (but likely a UC not a Polaris lounge). But I agree with the others that long haul flights are going to continue to leave from C because that's where the Polaris lounges are.
Wasn't there a discussion of a new UC at EWR? Why would DL be interested in building up operations at EWR when they have a presence at LGA and JFK as well?

So why even have a presence at EWR?
