But isn't the cancelling of subsequent sectors (after an initial no-show) just a blunt instrument used by the airlines to stop people gaming the system with cheaper multi leg fares that they don't really need?
Or is there another reason (besides "it's always been this way" or "everyone does it") for such a draconian condition?
If not, and to repeat CWS... IANAL... I do wonder if this could be approached as an unfair contract term, assuming the contract is construed under English law...?
