Stay report
Had a two night stay last week at this property before heading north.
Pondering between the Marriott, Westin, and this LC for Warsaw with rates of $100, $90, and $160 respectively. Might as well “splurge” a little with limited travel this year.
applied SNA and cleared 5 days out to a deluxe suite. Requested the deluxe and the grand and got the bigger deluxe suite.
property is near the university and old town. Great for walking the sites of new world area, old town, and new town. The street in front is a bus and taxi only street so not much traffic.
checkin was a breeze. There were no porters or concierge to help with bags upon arrival but only had small carry ons. Got the breakfast as the welcome amenity.
All of these suites are corner suites close to the old fashioned elevators. Deluxe suite was the corner room facing the front and side streets. This suite was massive with a large corner living area, large dining area, half bath, large bedroom with walk in closet, and a smallish bedroom bathroom. This suite connects on both sides to other rooms if one chooses to connect more rooms to make it a 3 bedroom suite. Windows open if that matters.
gym on the 6th floor was average sized with sufficient machines.
basement level has a full service spa and a rather nice pool area. Although the pool size is small, you can turn on the swim jets that blows water one way while you swim towards the jets making it “lap-pable.”
breakfast was in the main restaurant. Full buffet with eggs made to order. A decent spread with lots of cold and hot items. Service was good.
masks signs were everywhere and only the restaurant staff wore it at all times. Front desk and concierge don’t wear them. Warsaw overall has little mask wearing even though stores and public transportation all have mask signs, only about half wear them.
overall a great property although the Marriott may be more centrally located.
