Just read in the WSJ that the 738's are being eliminated from ORD as part of a cost cutting move (consolidating fleet types at hubs). Sounds like they will serve a lot more MIA. I guess that leaves ORD with more 757's, S80's, and RJ's domestically.

Has this been known around here for a while? The 738's were the domestic aircraft I actually enjoyed. I'm looking at all the changes around AA and, although I was once an AA loyallist, am certainly feeling glad about moving to UA when I did. Less MRTC, less 738's, $$$ on top of miles for upgrades... it's beginning to feel like CO around here.
