Everyone who enters Taiwan needs to be quarantined for 15 nights at your own expense. It doesn't matter if you are a citizen, resident or visitor. It doesn't matter if you are vaccinated or not, nor does it matter if you are infected or not.
You need a special Visa, which is next to impossible to get, to enter as a visitor. Hence, quarantine hotels are really for returning citizens and residents.
I wonder why so many hotels are converting to quarantine hotels? Is there an anticipated surge in demand?
