Hi,
Question for you people please. I'm based in the UK, so taking advantage of an exEU fare. My itinerary is below?
Do AA check-in agents check Covid proof for the final destination. Italy requires a Covid test taken 48 hours before arrival. Will this be checked by AA when I check in at LAX?
On the outbound is no issue. I need a PCR test for the USA (T-3 days) and Italy (T-2 days), so just get one test for both in London before I set of to Milan.
But for the return leg, the check-in time at LAX is about 48 hours before the arrival into Italy (once you account for time difference).
I fully intend to get tested and comply with Italy regulations. But I want to get a rapid test when I arrive into London - I have a 23 hour layover, so plenty of time. But is the AA check-in agent at LAX going to insist on the test having been done at that point?
