I'm ashamed to admit I have been the cause of some distress to my fellow passengers (but not on purpose)
Flying one of Deltas olf L1011 in first in the front row on the side, I just naturally assumed that the tiny overhead locker was the place to put my carry-on. The guy across the aisle in the center was not happy when I crushed his favorite hat. How was I to be able to see a hat in an overhead on that plane, and does not seasoned passengers realize it aint a hat rack anymore

Then there was the puddle jumper with its tiny overhead with just enough room to fit my old set of wheelies. It was only as I deplaned that I noticed the tire marks on somebodys white dress coat neatly laid out flat on the bottom of the open bin
