Just contacted FB live chat and I was told the only option to redeem Miles for hotel reservations is with Hotels for Miles (https://www.flyingblue.co.uk/en/earn...s/presentation).

So I just did a quick reservation check on the hotel I usually stay at for 3 nights on the first weekend of October:

The Earn Miles (i.e. pay cash) is: £366 (+ earn 2700 Miles).
The Spend Miles is: 96500 Miles or £327 + 3700 Miles

So the 3700 Miles takes off £366 - £327 = £39, which is (£39 x 100 p/£)/3700 Miles = 1.05 p/Mile.
Or the value of Miles instead of cash for the total is (£366 x 100 p/£)/96500 Miles = 0.37 p/Mile.

Is pence per Mile the best way that judge 'best value'? Is the above otions considered good value (again I've never spent my Miles so am a noob)? I am not so sure so I do not know if I should spend the Miles or if this is a waste. I understand that the best use of FB Miles is with AF or KL, as FB is their FFP.

Thanks.
