Is the firm bed a standard thing with Thompson? I've only stayed in the Thompson Savanna which was too firm for my taste. It took some back and forth with housekeeping, but we did get an OK topper that helped, but the bed alone might keep me away from this brand that otherwise seems great.
I have stayed at 3 Thompsons so far (San Antonio, Dallas, and Savannah), and they all have firm mattresses. Usually, I like softer beds, but for some reason, I sleep really well on Thompson beds. I do think firm beds is a brand standard, though.
