Just spent five days at the JW, some thoughts post renovation/rebrand:
1. As the hotel approaches 30 years it’s not showing it’s age in many ways, however the recent refurbishment does have some glaring issues, specifically the lack of power points in the room and in the case of the junior suite, none near the working desk.
2. COVID limits on lift capacity makes for long waits at peak times, ie late afternoon.
3. The pool bar could do with a better ordering system, QR Code order and pay for instance
4. With the restaurant now named Citrique, I wonder if they realise in addition to it being a citrus reference, it’s also a type of cannabis!
Overall we had a great time, but it could be better.
