The flight from PHL is early morning so I'm not too concerned about delays there. We are taking the second (last) DFW-HNL flight. Do you think we will run into issues?

The standard MCT is 50 minutes, yes, but AA-AA Domestic MCT is 40 minutes, which overrides the standard MCT. Whether you feel comfortable with that is up to you. I personally wouldn't do a connection at DFW that's less than an hour given the size and time it takes to get the skylink, and would prefer more if it's the last flight of the day to my destination, but I've sprinted all the way across the airport in 10-20 minutes before, so the time is definitely doable.
