Do all SlyTeam airlines use TravelDoc instead of TIMATIC?
Hello and apologies because this question isn’t centered around KLM, but I thought to pose it either here or the Delta sub forums since it has to do with SkyTeam, but feel free to move it elsewhere. I hope it doesn’t get moved to the middle eastern airlines forum because it won’t get as much traction there in all likelihood.
My friend is flying JED-LHR on Saudia, a SkyTeam member, and she’s supposed to do transit landside without a visa in LHR to board a flight to the US on a separate ticket at a different terminal. The UK government allows this with specific conditions that she would be meeting.
However, TIMATIC explicitly mentions this information about landside transit, but TravelDoc does not. Since Saudia is a SkyTeam member, I’m scared that the Saudia employee during check in might only have access to TravelDoc and not TIMATIC, which means the employee wouldn’t see the pertinent information about landside transit without a visa in the UK.
Thus I’m asking if anyone knows if all SkyTeam members are using TravelDoc or just some members such as KLM.
