I canīt 100% say why, but my favorite hotel (from pictures) at Lake Como was always Grand Tremezzo. First question is which room to book. Most double rooms has bathrooms withtub/shower combos which is sportive with 4 figure rates. I was between a Rooftop Junior Suite and the Garden Terrace Suite. While the Rooftop has a Jaccuzi on the Terrace and is located on the highest floor, itīs practically a relative small double room. With rates of 2100 + 10% tax perhaps not perfect. The Garden Suite has no Lake View, but is a 2 room suite with second bathroom. It was even cheaper (OK, 2000 + 10% tax is not really cheap), so I decided to take this. With a Harper Auction it was quite a bargain, with some amenities (1 hour boats tour, breakfast, credit, welcome drink, Tickets for Villa Carlotta) and the extra charge per night it was 1125 per night which was a great price.
From outside the hotel is quite a landmark.

You reach the lobby over stairs or an elevator.

The hotel is located directly at the coastal road, which is quite busy. As parking garages are quite rare in the area the parking area is special.

Security?

The lobby is nice with a flower arrangement

There are also some sweets.

Hallway

There are some quite nice rooms on the ground level.

Staircase

View on the lobby.
