What hotel would you prefer the Marriott Sisli or the Sheraton Levent - with and without an open executive lounge?
Planing a two night stay in Istanbul for a little sightseeing. Both are not perfect for that, but at least both are close to a Metro line.
TBH, I prefer the Sheraton because at least they serve canapés and alcoholic beverages at the bar in lieu of club lounge. Marriott Sisli doesn't. They just offer 750 points and that didn't even come until intervention. (disclaimer, I stayed in sisli last May twice and it was still closed. Could be open now.)
For service, I would say both are excellent. So either of the 2 you wouldn't go wrong. It is true though (based on TA) that Levent staffs are more smiling. Sisli I feel is more corporate.
But for my #1 criteria is the PCR tests. I really don't want to go to a hospital for that and the Sheraton for my situation is exactly what I'm looking for in this particular time.
