Complicated question. I know that award tickets on Virgin Atlantic earn Virgin tier points. Similarly, I know that Delta flights earn Virgin tier points. What I'm wondering is if award travel on Delta can also earn Virgin tier points. To make matters worse, I'm going to buy the Delta flights using Chase Reward points. I'm not sure that Chase Rewards puchased Delta flights would be seen by Delta as "award travel". Puzzling. Hope you can help unravel this and thanks in advance.
